Chocolate~

Posted in Updates at 1:35 pm by Amy656

If you put out chocolate, I will eat it.

Waaaahhhhh~ I love chocolate.  LOVE IT!  Therefore, I do my best not to buy it, otherwise I will eat mass amounts of it, even though I know it will make me sick (kinda like a kid on Halloween).  But chocolate keeps appearing and I must eat it.  It’s like that lady in The Secret who says “if you think about bills, bills will appear so you don’t think you’re crazy.”

Well… I think about chocolate and it keeps appearing! *laughs*

On a sidenote, I rented a movie last night after I realized that it has been over a year since I rented one.  Wow, it’s nice to just relax for 2 hours and not think about anything but the movie.

more Secret

Posted in Manifesting at 9:21 pm by Amy656

My mom and I watched The Secret again the other night (i think i’ve watched it 5 or 6 times now) and afterwards, I enthusiastically roped her into a round of “what should we manifest!?”

I started listing off things I am manifesting.  I said things like, “I manifest another bonus at work, this time 10%,” and “I manifest another fabulous, amazing trip to Tokyo!”

My mom listened then said, “10% is a lot to ask for, how about you manifest 5%, that’s more probable.”

I guffawed a bit and told her to raise her glass ceiling then reaffirmed that I manifest 10% or more - why limit myself?

So then I asked my mom what she wants to manifest and she said, “I don’t want cancer.”

My jaw dropped, my head hung and I simply started the DVD over again. Then I suggested she think of herself as “healthy” and drop the word cancer from her thoughts altogether.  She laughed and said okay.

After talking with a lot of people who have seen The Secret and having years of my own experiences with manifesting, I realize the biggest hurdle seems to be our patterns of thought.  So my suggestion is notice your thought patterns about certain topics.  Are you good with your career and health, but have trouble with finances and relationships?  Pay attention to the ”postive” or “strong” thoughts in your areas of strength and see how they differ from areas you have more trouble with, then start mimicking those feelings and thoughts in your weaker areas.

Good luck! :)

Happy Easter

Posted in Updates at 10:32 pm by Amy656

*cheep cheep*    Happy Easter!

One of my favorite foods is daifuku, which is a Japanese red bean paste pastry.  Red bean doesn’t sound good, but it tastes divine.  Tonight, I had a cup of tea and daifuku for dessert!

I used some fancy china because it just sits and collects dust~ but the little matching teacup is way to small for me.

Daifuku is a weird, but soft texture.  It’s kind of like dry jello with a light dusting of powdered sugar (it’s way heavier than jello).  It’s kinda squishy too.  Anywho, it tastes nothing like jello.

So when you bite into it, you find the scrumptious filling… sweet red bean paste!

The first time I was offered a red bean dessert I thought it’d be awful, now it’s one of my favorites.  And it’s probably better for me than the ten Oreos I gobbled down earlier.  ;)
