*hangs head for moment of silence for my twenties*
Okay, now that I’ve accepted the big 30 swooping into my life, I can get onto the fun stuff! MANIFESTING! Wahoo! There’s no better time to manifest than on New Years. I have my handy-dandy list all ready to go, so now all I need is some motivation to make magic happen.
ooops… i have to go do some stuff… i shall return!!!!!!
Okay, I’m back. It took me all day to update all my sites and blogs for the New Year. But my biggest accomplishment in all that computer frenzy is this –> My BeSparkly Blog Theme. I just loaded it to my new site, BeSparkly.com and am super happy with it because it’s the first time I made my own blog theme. I happen to like this theme, so I probably won’t make a new one for this blog.
See you in the New Year!

In 20 minutes it will be 3 days until my 30th birthday!ÂÂ
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And it will also be New Years, the perfect time of year to assess goals and spark yourself back into motivation. For me, since my birthday is actually January 1st, it’s always been a doubly-good time of year because not only am I starting a new year, I’m starting a new age.
I’ve already received some birthday cards and I’m so excited about the fun, sparkly cards I’m getting. Thanks so much! =D

Ho ho ho… Merry Christmas!ÂÂ
My big plan today is to take a shower and change into a different set of pajamas. And I guess I’ll work some. =)
It is now officially one week until my 30th birthday and I’ve been writing out everything I want to accomplish/manifest in the next few years so when New Years strikes my year will start off at full speed in the manifesting department. What’s on your wish list for the New Year?ÂÂ
<< an hour or so later >>
…ah, taking a shower really makes me feel… clean! Now, I’m off to make snowflake sugar cookies, without egg since I’m an ovo-vegetarian (which means I don’t eat meat, fish, or anything with eggs in it). I’m one step away from a vegan, I just couldn’t give up dairy… CHEESE! *giggles*
Oh, and here is a pic from last weekend when we made gingerbread houses ~gum drops~ don’t they look like a toothache waiting to happen?

I may settle down in a blanket after the cookies to watch one of the continuous showings of “A Christmas Story” on TV today because, is it really Christmas without Ralphie and his BB*Gun? I don’t think so… plus, I love the “ra ra ra ra ra,” singing at the Chinese restaurant. Japanese people really have trouble with the “L” sound…they say “Rondon” instead of London and “Ros Angeres” instead of Los Angeles. It’s cute, ne? But my favorite thing about the “ra ra ra” part of the movie is - why are there Japanese workers at a Chinese restaurant? Chinese people can say the “L” just fine. Hmmm, ponder that.

Today is Christmas Eve! While most people are scrambling around for last minute gifts and traveling to their final destination, or heck, even working, I just rolled out of bed and put on a pot of coffee because the next two days are MINE!
My family celebrated Christmas last weekend, so my gifts have been given, my driving been done, all that’s left now is making cookies. And just like my Thanksgiving pie, we had Christmas pie. And here it is ~ good ole apple pie. We have other pies too, I just happen to like apple the best.ÂÂ

That little jar has cinnamon sticks in it and as you can see, my coffee is nearly gone. After we had desert, we started making gingerbread houses for my nephews to work on. It was fun.
So now, I am going to spend the entire day doing whatever I want. That’s my Christmas present to myself.
Happy Holidays, be safe!

This afternoon I was wrapping gifts and getting my packages ready to be mailed out when I realized, I was one box short to mail the holiday goodies. Having moved twice this year, I scoured the house for a suitable box and much to my dismay, realized I’d tossed most of them. I sat down on my sofa and said “I need a box, just one box!”
Then I proceeded to get engrossed in a half-hour rerun sitcom on TV. Just as the sitcom was ending, my doorbell rang. I opened the door to find the DHL guy with one package for me AND it was in the perfect size box that I needed.
While the box was already in transit to be delivered when I less-than-happily wailed that I needed a box, the thirty minute response time to asking for and being given the manifested item really made me smile. :)ÂÂ
