(*-*) The Laughing Shoe

Egads!  I was so discombobulated today that I actually left the house wearing one brown shoe and one black shoe!!!!!!!!  And to make matters even more hilarious, I didn’t notice for nearly 4 hours.

*sigh*  I got a good laugh out of it though, which is exactly what I needed.  Laughing can really break a spell of icky energy.  Yesterday, I was tired, but in a good mood, until I had a run in with someone who rubbed me the wrong way. Try as I may, I wasn’t able to “let it go” and each time I thought about it, I got my feathers ruffled all over again. 

Needless to say, it dampened my entire mood and even a ten-hour night of sleep didn’t shake the ickiness away.  So today when I woke up, I was a discombobulated mess.  My head felt fuzzy, I had the shoe fiasco, and I even slouched all day because my back felt overloaded. 

So, when I discovered my mismatching shoes, instead of freaking out, I started laughing.  Then I pointed them out to another girl and she started laughing.  And we both laughed and told someone else.  And before you know it, my energy had shifted.  I was still tired, but all that ickiness was gone.

If you are feeling bad or tired or just plain cranky, find something to make you laugh ~ it can really “lighten” your mood.

Manifesting Boo-Boo (x*_*)

Okay, so I manifested an abundance in money and checks in the mail…and my schedule filled up with work… :(

…so now I need to adjust that because I’m so busy I can’t see straight!

  • I manifest and receive abundance in monetary wealth easily and effortlessly. 
  • I have a comfortable, relaxing schedule that allows me to do whatever I please at any pace of my choice.
  • I can see straight.  *giggles*
  • I get all of my work done quickly, precisely, and effortlessly.
  • I have time to do everything I want to do.
  • There is enough time.
  • There is an abundance of money.

Ahh~~ that should do it.  I feel better already!  :)

Happy Thanksgiving (^^)

Today is Thanksgiving!  So here is my “thankful list” ~

  • I am thankful for my brother’s laptop since mine won’t connect to his wireless internet for some reason ~ thanks bro so I can post my thankful list!
  • I am thankful for meatless chicken patties ~ thanks Boca Burgers!
  • I am thankful for all of my “things,” including my car, where I live, clothes, shoes, etc.
  • I am thankful that I got to watch the movie “An Inconvienent Truth” last night ~ now I know the real effects about global warming & can help make a difference ~ thanks Al Gore for your dedication to this cause and determination to spread the truth around.
  • I am thankful for my three beautiful nephews ~ Jacob, John, & Matthew.  They are the cutest, most snuggly little creatures. 
  • I am thankful for my family & the support they have given me over the years.
  • I am thankful for my sister-in-law who slaves over Thanksgiving dinner every year.  Thanks Sarah!
  • I am thankful for all of my friends.
  • I am thankful for the fun retail job I have for the holidays.
  • I am thankful for Coca-Cola, coffee, & chocolate.  And cheese.  And sugar.
  • I am thankful for the flexibility in my life.
  • I am thankful for my Manifesting Blog ~ a place where I can post all the nuances that cross my mind.  :)
  • I am thankful for heat.  Really, what would we do without heat in the winter?
  • I am thankful that my brother bought the entire first season of Battlestar Gallactica… now I can borrow it!
  • I am thankful for warm, snuggly socks and everything fleece.

*This list is not complete, but an abridged version because really, I don’t want to take up all my blog space with my thankful list.

Amy’s “The Secret” Mission

For the holiday’s, I’m working a fun retail job to really embrace the season and pad my checking account (plus, the discount alone is snazzy-fantastic).  Anywho, I worked in the store today and found myself recommending customers and co-workers to go home and watch The Secret online. 

Since when did I become an unofficial spokesman?!  *scratches head in wonderment*

That’s how great I feel about this movie. 

While a series of events at the store today, starting with a power outage, spiralled into the one domino knocks over the other effect, I managed to find my balance and get out of the spiraling energy.  My only casualty was an exploding pop bottle on my break.  After that, I put on a smile and used the tools in The Secret to turn the energy of my day around.

So, to start my new Thanksgiving tradition of actually giving thanks, I want to shout:

  • I am thankful for all the recommendations people gave me to watch The Secret.
  • I am thankful for making the time and space to watch The Secret and
  • I am thankful for the understanding and patience to put The Secret into action in my everyday life.

By the way, my friend laughs at me because whenever I say ”the secret,” I apparently whisper it in a mysterious, movie/TV sort of way.

Some Current Manifestings…

Here are some things I am currently manifesting and affirming to myself.  Notice how I speak in the “present” tense.  For instance, I say “I am fluent in Japanese” even though I’m still learning.  That way, my mind will be like “oh? We’re fluent in Japanese?  Okay, let me make that happen.” 

Get it?  Got it?  Good.

  • I manifest that people who read my blog post happy, postive comments.  *nudge nudge*
  • I manifest a trip to Japan in 2007. 
  • I am, by the way, confident that I can manifest.  Are you confident?  If not, just say that you are and let it be so.
  • I am fluent in Japanese.
  • I manifest & successfully receive a check in the mail everyday! (If you’ve seen The Secret, you’ll know what I’m talking about)
  • I manifest a relaxed, fun filled Holiday season at work, at home, and with my family.

Please, comment with your own manifesting list, even if you just have one thing you are manifesting.  I believe that you can manifest successfully. :)

~ The Secret ~

After many recommendations, I finally sat down and watched the online movie, The Secret. 

Let me start by saying wow!   YAY!

The Secret is a concise, interesting, and informational movie (somewhat documentary style) that depicts the basics of manifesting and pretty much everything I’ve been babbling about here.  It costs $5 to watch online and/or you can purchase the DVD to watch at home.  I say, watch it online because you shouldn’t waste another minute of your life without seeing this amazing video.

I am so impressed with this movie, that I’m including a link on the side bar for easy access. 

I would explain more about the content of the movie, but I’d rather let you watch it yourself.  The visual examples make a bigger impact than my little recommendation.  So go, spend the most important $5 of your life, and watch the movie.  TODAY!
