We’ve all heard the phrase, “be careful what you wish for, you might just get it,” and laughed at the irony because something has happened to all of us that is just that - we got what we wanted but in some round about way that turned out to be what we didn’t want!
I took a long walk around my brother’s neighborhood today, pushing my toddler nephew around in a stroller. Between covering “counting and numbers” with my nephew and huffing in the heat a thought got stuck in my head. You can’t just manifest and get what you want, you have to manfiest with precision.
For instance; let’s say you want a new red sports car. So you manifest a new red sports car and you imagine yourself driving it with a giant smile, the radio blaring your favorite tune, it’s a sunny day, and all the lights turning green just for you. At this point, your manifesting seems good. You made sure to add details, imagined you were there in the moment, and think, “yeah, I can have that.”
The trouble is, you may end up with the red sports car in a different way. Instead of owning it, the following could happen (or any other number of scenarios).
- Your work sends you to a small town in northern Michigan in January and when you get there, the SUV you ordered - because there’s 16 inches of snow on the ground - is rented out due to the weather and you get upgraded into a tiny red sports car. So you slide through all the green lights because no one is toodling about, you are the only lucky one to be driving because you have to, and find yourself in a constant squint because the glare of the sun reflecting off the snow is blinding. And of course, the radio has two modes - off or stuck at the loudest volume setting and you accidentally broke the knob off in an attempt to save your eardrums from bursting and now it’s permanently on.
*laughs* Now, my scenario is extreme of course - exaggerated to prove a point. Be precise. Just add in a few more details to your wish list and you’ll pat yourself on the back later.

One of the biggest hurdles in manifesting is knowing what it is you actually want. We think about things we want all the time - a new car, a new CD, cookies, etc. We want big things and little things, but we don’t take the time to really understand the reason why we want these things.
I’ll post an article on ”want” soon, but for now, this is a reminder to really think about what you want out of life: your job, your relationships, your money, your health, even what you want for dinner.
I want the freedom to do what I want to do with my life and my schedule. I also want some tea, so I’ll go make myself a cup and ponder on the rest of my life this afternoon. What will you think about today?

I’ve moved just about every year for the last… upteen years, I have no idea it’s been so long. Each time I move, the energy shifts because the energy of each place is different, but mostly because of my expectations and feeling of “security” shifts depending on the situation.
I moved yesterday into a new place ~ I really like the energy of the neighborhood and the house. Yay!
During the move, I’ve tried to stay motivated to manifest, but it’s hard when your mind is trying to keep up with 100 million things. So I’m taking time right now to post and jot down more things on my manifesting list.

Often, I find myself struggling to keep manifesting. I fall into a grumpy mood, run out of steam, or just exist in a state of total apathy. All of these things are foes to manifesting. Because these moods come about on a regular basis, I have found the best way to stay motivated is to find a muse.
A muse can be anything that inspires you. For me, music inspires me to write or get into that “space” where I can freely fantasize about the life I want which then allows me to manifest.
Find a muse to help you! Don’t be afraid to change your muse often or have multiple ones. Generally, I try not to make a person a muse because just like myself, others get fussy and just try finding freedom to manifest if your muse is grumpy. LOL
Types of Muses:
- Music
- TV Shows
- Movies
- Books
- Cartoons
- Locations ~ coffee shops, parks, home
- Clothes
- Food ~ in my case, chocolate & cotton candy
- Websites
- Weather ~ thunderstorms, sunny days
- Driving ~ this used to by my favorite muse
Just remember to be flexible and allow new muses to come in when old ones no longer suit you. Have fun with it and enjoy life!

If you plan on manifesting, working with energy, or even just understanding energy then you must read Personal Power Through Awareness by Sanaya Roman. She has a series of books that are amazing, but this one is the one to start with. It is the best blueprint for energy I’ve found in print ~ ever!
I’ve read it so many times that I’m in need of a new copy. I think I’ll just manifest myself one!

There’s no magic like manifesting something fun. I recently decided to manifest some cotton candy because it had been way too long since I’d had any ~ years if I recall correctly ~ and I wanted some. I wrote it down in my manifesting journal and waited.
A few weeks later I found some cotton candy on sale at a store for $1.99 and bought it. The bag lasted about a month and I was happy. To my surprise, however, I had actually written down that I wanted a “free” bag of cotton candy and since that hadn’t been fulfilled as asked for, ”the manifesting energy” kept looking for the free bag.
I’m happy to say, I got my free bag last night after attending my nephew’s birthday party at Chuck E. Cheeses.
